Is it inappropriate for a married woman to show gratitude to a divorced man?

Just talk to him and tell him you appreciate what he's done. Yes, it would be inappropriate to give another man a Valentine's Day acknowledgement of any kind for any reason. And I do think you might have a place in your heart for him that is more than typical for people who help our kids with their religious education.
