omg thats complicated... i think that you should pretend you dont like him for a while cus it kinda seems like hes up to something... just act normal like if he was just your friend.. and try to talk to him a little less each day and ignore a call or something and then later you could just tell him you were busy... let him look for you and call you and stuff you know.. let him struggle a bit and maybe he will stop tryna avoid you.. hope that helps.! :O
