Am I Depressed? If I am, Why?

Lately, I've been felling really sad and have been crying a lot. The problem is, I don't know why. And, I'm not even sure if I'm depressed. If I am depressed, what should I do? Because, I can't tell my mom. She won't understand. Please help!
